Divorce through Agreement
(Marital settlement Agreement)
Divorce through settlement agreement, wherein both parties agree upon all terms of case (support, division of assets and debts, and custody, visitation, and child support if children are involved).
This includes preparing all forms from beginning to end, as a “default through agreement.” We submit all forms to the court for filing, so you do not have to. We serve the Respondent by mail, so you avoid personal service. All you need to do is complete (2) forms, FL-150 and FL-142, and we do the rest.

Will & Power of Attorneys
We can prepare your Stand Alone Will, with a power of attorney and health care directive. We will mail the documents to you which you notarize.

Divorce through True Default
(Uncontested)
In this divorce, we work only with the Petitioner. We file all the initial forms outlining the proposed division of assets and debts, spousal support, and any proposed custody, visitation, if children are involved.
After filing, the Respondent is personally served (which client is responsible for arranging).
Then (30) days after service, if the Respondent has not filed a response with the Court, Petitioner’s proposed judgment is submitted to the court for filing.
The Court reviews the paperwork to see if the proposed orders are fair, equitable, and make sense.
You will not need to come to the office, or visit the court, as we handle everything through email, mail, and over the phone. This includes preparing all forms from beginning to end, as a “true default.”

Name Change
We prepare the Name Change Petition, which you can sign electronically. We then file it with the Court and ensure the Order to Show Cause is filed in a legal newspaper as required. The proof of publication is then submitted to the court so your name change request can be granted without hiccup. You do not even need to attend the hearing or visit the courthouse. When the hearing is over (which you do not attend), we will send you a link you can use to order certified copies directly from the court.
Request for Order
&
Ex Parte
(Family Law Only)
We prepare and file the Request for Order, and Ex Parte, and all required supplemental court forms. We use our experience to craft a concise and effective declaration telling the Court your story and include any exhibits you want the Court to see.
We will file the motion and serve the response on the other party by mail, if allowed. You will not need to come to the office, or visit the court, as we handle everything through email, mail, and over the phone.
